Certifications

Thanks to a production process based on quality and on a modern and efficient in-house control method, over the past few years Nutrifree has achieved:

- UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality control management
- BRC and IFS standards for food safety
Ministerial authorization 604/0F.508/7671 of 02/07/2007 to produce and package gluten-free products
- AIC concession to use the "Crossed Spike" trademark to guarantee greater safety of the end product and more clarity for the celiac consumer. In fact, the Italian Celiac Association only allows producers to use the "Crossed Spike" trademark if they respect the strict AIC rules and regulations. Moreover, this type of trademark relays the message of product safety in a simple and unequivocal manner, that's why Nutrifree has chosen to help celiac consumers choose easily by obtaining the "Crossed Spike" for all of its products.


The Nutrifree Exclusive Production Factory

Stabilimento di Produzione Esclusivo NutrifreeSince 2007 Nutrifree has chosen to dedicate its entire factory to produce its own products: 2000 sqm authorized by a special Ministerial Decree entirely dedicated to the exclusive production of Nutrifree products.
This choice represents an uncommon step forward in the gluten-free market which is composed of factories which usually produce for more than one trademark. The originality of many Nutrifree products is basically due to this choice allowing the company to supply unique products due to its exclusive production facilities.
Moreover, the exclusive factory ensures greater control over each production stage and the flexibility to respond to each new requirement in a timely manner in addition to the tangible creation of research and development activities. All these aspects add up to greater quality and continued innovation of Nutrifree products.
To communicate this distinctive feature the trademark "Exclusive Nutrifree Production Factory" was created to guarantee the origin of the products it's applied to.

Research and Development
Innovation in the gluten-free sector means full-time painstaking research to discover new recipes and combinations, research which is still at a pioneering level due to the absence of any well-established bibliography on the subject. Nutrifree dedicates much of its time and effort to discover new recipes and to constantly improve gluten-free products. The availability of its own production facility makes this Nutrifree Quality aspect even more tangible and efficacious.

Communication tools
Communication allows the producer to get close to the consumer, to set up a constructive dialogue and a mutually trustworthy relationship.
